After getting some great feedback from you all, I’ve decided to do 4 different Blog Series in 2020. What’s a blog series? If you don’t know, a Blog Series is a consistent topic that I will discuss or write about once a month (that’s the goal!) here on A Glass of Goldwater. I love the idea of a series because it’ll keep some of the content consistent, and you’ll know exactly what to expect when you come visit. So without further adieu, here are the series topics for 2020!
1. Top 5
I am SO excited for this one. I’ll be sharing a quick run through of my Top 5 WHATEVER! It’ll be a mix of products (makeup, clothes, etc), Amazon Finds, amazing books, events and maybe even some other small businesses. This will be my first series post of the year, and I can’t wait!
2. Mom Wins
I think it’s about time we all start celebrating our Mom Wins! I hopped on stories the other day and shared a really small one of mine, but it got such an overwhelming positive response! We often complain (which is TOTALLY fine and necessary), but sometimes in the mix of the hardships, we forget to celebrate the mini wins. My hope is that by sharing some of mine, you will see more of yours in your own lives.
3. Ask Alyssa
This one will be really fun. I’ll be taking questions that come up over on Instagram, and choosing one or two to answer for this series. This series will be completely generated by you all, so I hope you’ll jump in. The questions can be anything from personal questions about my life to business to anything in between. Deep questions or a little more surface level — it doesn’t matter! We’ll just go with the flow and have some fun.
4. Parenting Problems
As my kids get older, I’ve started to encounter different “parenting issues”. They range anywhere from getting dressed in the morning to how I choose an elementary school to getting shots at the doctor. Each month, I’ll pick a relevant “Road Block” and talk about how I navigate it.
By no means am I a parenting expert! In fact, quite the opposite. But I do think we can learn from each other, and I’m excited to hear some of your experiences as well when tackling similar situations.
Can’t wait to get these series kicked off with all of you! I’d love to know what else you want to see! Leave a comment or topic for any of the series in the comments, and maybe you’ll see yours featured. Cheers to the New Year! xo
