There’s a learning curve to anything in life. When you start your own business, you slowly find ways to make your life easier and make your ship run smoothly.
Over the past 3 years, I’ve tried numerous productivity apps, working to find the ones that really work for me. I can safely say that I’m excited to share my absolute FAVORITE apps with you today. These apps can be used for business, your home or just help to lighten the load of information that your brain carries every day.
1. Asana
This is a GEM of an app. Whether you work solo or as part of a team, it’s an amazing way to keep your projects and tasks organized. I use it to keep all of my clients, and the different projects I have going on for each of them, organized.
For privacy reasons, I can’t share the Project Boards I have for my clients, but this is my current “larger project” to-do list.*
There’s a desktop option, that I love, but there is also a phone app option. You could easily use this app to keep track of different to-dos for all the members of your family as well. Highly recommend! And it’s FREE!
2. PLANN
After trying out every Instagram content planning app on the planet, I’ve decided that I like PLANN the best. It’s great for a Social Media Manager who juggles multiple accounts, and I like the functionality of it overall. The price of this app for multiple users is less than other apps as well.
3. Canva
If you have any sort of low-key graphic design to accomplish, Canva is the app and website for you. It’s super easy to create an account, and you can upload your logo, brand colors and fonts for easy accessibility.
Not a graphics-guru? No problem. Canva has tons of free templates that will make perfectly pretty graphics for all of your social media needs.
4. DropBox
If you have to share any sort of image or graphic with members of a team or a graphic designer, this is the app you need. Everyone can put shared items in folders here. The basic plan, which is perfect for most people, is free, and it helps streamline the sharing process.
5. Unsplash
This isn’t necessarily a productivity app, but if you need beautiful photos for easy graphics or posts, this is your site. Thousands of free images of everything from a smiling baby to confetti falling from the sky are available and free to download and use.
I wouldn’t recommend using this site as a lifestyle brand, because people want to see just that, your life. But as a business, this site can be super helpful when you may not have the time or the money to photograph beautiful pictures.
What apps do use to help you function? I’d love to compile a list of more!
