I’ve partnered with Jewel-Osco to share some exciting news! In case you haven’t heard, Jewel-Osco now offers an amazing Drive Up & Go + Grocery Delivery services that makes grocery shopping this holiday season (and all year round!) as easy as getting in your car. No more lines or trying to wrangle your kids through the busy supermarket aisles. It’s really a mother’s dream. I save precious time and I get to spend that time with my family instead.
This past week, the Goldwater Gang and I tried out Jewel-Osco’s Drive Up & Go service for the first time. I think it’s safe to say that it won’t be the last.
It’s as easy as logging on to the Jewel-Osco website, clicking your products and getting in your car. PLUS new customers receive $20 Off + FREE Grocery Delivery on your first online order. Remember to use time-saving services like Drive Up & Go at your local store or Grocery Delivery! Click below to check out the services at your local retailer.
Why do I choose Drive Up & Go? Well…
It can be really hard to make it through a grocery store with two toddlers in tow. I’m always forgetting things (even if they’re on my list!), and I end up having to go back to the store at least 2 other times each week. Not only do I not really have time for the extra shopping trips but I also end up spending more money than I should because you alllll know that extra goodies end up in our carts every time we go into Jewel-Osco, especially with the amazing selection of Kosher items they have at my local store in Evanston, IL.
So when I heard about the Drive Up & Go/Delivery Service I was super excited to give it a try. I was able to sit comfortably at my computer (in my home!), thoughtfully make my grocery list for the week, and add it to my cart. I picked a time for the following day that worked for my schedule, and it didn’t matter if the store was going to be packed because I DIDN’T HAVE TO GO INSIDE!!
So how’d it go?
It was such an easy process. There were signs in the parking lot of Jewel-Osco directing me to the pickup location, where there was a sign with a number to call. Once I let the store know I was there, they brought out my grocery order within 3 minutes.
I was super lucky that I didn’t have to go in because Azi was refusing to put shoes on and it was FREEZING outside. It’s always such a schlep getting everyone bundled up to go in and out of stores in the winter, but now I don’t have to. The order came outside just in the nick of time because Azi was ready for his cheese sticks that were in our grocery Drive Up & Go order. Double win for mom!
Jewel-Osco’s Drive Up & Go/Delivery Service has definitely made it to my list of Top 5 Mom Relaxation Techniques to Increase Your Sanity:
- Let your toddler dress herself. It just doesn’t matter. And no, she doesn’t need that bow in her hair.
- Germs are everywhere, but as long as your kids are washing their hands after school and outside activities, you’re doing the best you can. You don’t need to follow them around the playground squirting hand sanitizer every 10 seconds.
- Jewel-Osco’s Drive Up & Go + Delivery Service. EVERYTHING is better when no one has to get out of the car.
- Veggie Straws are healthy, Bamba is protein and a cheese stick is most definitely a full meal. Not every day, but every once in a while.
- If your kid still uses a paci, isn’t potty-trained, isn’t walking, doesn’t roll over and is waking up in the night, etc…take deep breaths. While I fully support sleep training (more on that another time) and working with your pediatrician to find the best solutions for your family, eeeverything comes in the right time. No two kids are alike…so stop comparing them. You will save an immense amount of brain power this way.
I purchased these products and more at my local Jewel-Osco, but you can also look for Drive Up & Go and Grocery Delivery services at many Albertsons Companies family of stores including Albertsons, Lucky, Pavilions, Randalls, Safeway, Tom Thumb, Vons, and Pak N Save. Visit the Jewel-Osco website to find a store near you.
