As you know, I’ve been playing the SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® Collect & Win Game featuring MONOPOLY at Jewel-Osco. I’m so close to winning a bunch of different prizes, and that makes me want to play even more! What’s great is that, when I do my normal grocery shopping, I end up getting the SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® Collect & Win game tickets, so I go home and add the games pieces to the board.
I’ve been using the Shop, Play, Win App to test the codes on my MONOPOLY tickets, which makes the process really easy. I use the Shop, Play, Win App along with the Jewel-Osco app to get the best coupons and products that will give me the most tickets.
Grocery shopping is a skill, especially when you’re a mom. We do almost all of our shopping at Jewel-Osco. I love that it’s a one-stop shop, with all of my kosher needs in one place — and a HUGE selection of kosher wine, so what could possibly be better??
There are a few items that are always on my shopping list because we like to keep them in stock at home. Should I share?
Must-Have Grocery Items:
- Graham Crackers. Back in my day, graham crackers were considered a treat. Like, they’re called crackers. But really, they’re totally cookies. Well, apparently kids these days think they’re equivalent to vegetables. So we can never run out of them. Bonus: They’re worth extra tickets in the MONOPOLY SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® Collect & Win game this year.
- Chicken nuggets. Don’t leave Jewel-Osco without a bag. Especially with a son in feeding therapy, it’s important for me to have protein-filled foods on hand at all times.
- Grapes. My kids could inhale them all.day.long. — when cut the safe way, of course. I love that it’s a staple fruit that I can find at Jewel-Osco all year long, and my kids are always sure to get a bit of nutrients when they eat them.
- Ketchup. Because don’t you know that kids these days consider ketchup a vegetable? Actually, my husband does too! LOL. But it goes on everything. So, it always goes in the shopping cart. Bonus: worth extra MONOPOLY Collect & Win tickets, too!
- Cheese. Great source of protein and calcium and for some reason, my kids don’t seem turned off at this snack. That’s one treat I can get on board with.
MONOPOLY SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® Collect & Win also gives me an incentive to try new products that we haven’t had before. I haven’t had an Ore Ida Tater Tot in YEARS but they were extra MONOPOLY tickets, so I bought a bag for the kids to try — obviously, they were a hit.
At the end of the day, if everyone’s fed, healthy, and *mostly* happy, I consider it a good day. It can be tough to please everyone, especially when it comes to food. But it’s important to me to keep reasonably healthy foods around our house to hopefully encourage healthy eaters in our family. I’m grateful that we have an amazing Jewel-Osco with everything I need. And MONOPOLY Collect & Win makes grocery shopping more fun for all of us by allowing me to play while my kids enjoy looking for qualifying products on our shopping list.
Here’s to hoping I can get that MONOPOLY piece to win the dream vacation! I’ll take you all with me if I do ;).
